New Stanton UMC Adults Take Shortened Confirmand Tour

On March 15, a group from New Stanton UMC answered Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton's invitation to join the 2008 Confirmation Tours of the United Methodist Center in Cranberry Twp. This was NOT your typical group of 12-15-year-olds, but actually a group of adults that wanted to experience what the students learn from Conference staff and the Bishop. Here the group is learning of the five goals of the Believe Again! Plan for Ministry (on the screen) from Training & Resources Director Beth L. Nelson. Bishop Bickerton, at right, answered questions after a brief talk on the Episcopacy and United Methodism before other staffers gave more information to the group.
