Collects and preserves the historically significant records of the Conference and its agencies and assists local churches in preserving their records, compiling their histories, and celebrating their heritage.
Asbury Heights
In Pittsburgh's South Hills has been for nearly a century a leader in offering older adults and their families residential living options and health care services. Asbury Heights is operated by United Methodist Services for the Aging.
Board of Ordained Ministry
Assumes primary responsibility for the recruitment of clergy, and recommends actions to the Annual Conference on all matters related to clergy status and ordination.
Camping and Retreat Ministries
Develops plans for conference camping and retreat ministries in accordance with standards developed by the General Board of Discipleship.
Children's Ministry Team
The Children’s Ministry Team of the Western Pennsylvania Conference shall support efforts to make disciples for Jesus Christ among the children of our churches and communities for the transformation of the world.
Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns
Interprets, advocates, and works for the unity of the Christian church and encourages dialogue and cooperation with persons of other faiths.
Church & Society
Develops and promotes programs and action on issues of social justice based on the United Methodist Social Principles and legislative actions of the Annual Conference.
Cokesbury Bookstore
Official bookstore for The United Methodist Church, offers books, curriculum, robes, worship materials, furniture and more for churches from two Western PA locations.
Communications
The Western Pennsylvania Conference Communications Commission and staff provide resources, news, information and training for ministries of our congregations and United Methodists. The commission is comprised of volunteers form Conference churches, laity and clergy.
Conference Connectional Network
Includes representatives of all Conference agencies to act as the coordinating body to carry out directives of the Annual Conference, and serves as an executive agency to oversee and evaluate the work and ministries of the Conference between annual sessions.
Connellsville Area Community Ministries
Provides food, clothing, shelter and home repair to those in need in the Connellsville area.
Disaster Response
The goal of the Disaster Response Team (DRT) is to have a functional network of volunteers for response to disasters and service projects, building on the strengths of the United Methodist connection.

Eastbrook Mission Barn
The Eastbrook Mission Barn seeks to serve the Westen PA conference of The United Methodist Church by:
1) serving as a depot for UMCOR relief supplies (receiving, verifying, storing ans shipping);
2) offering UMVIM Modular Ramps to regional residents and churches, and providing training for youth and adults in constructing modular ramps;
3) working with the Disaster Response Committee of the WPA Annual Conference Board of Global Ministries to provide storage and a base of operations during disaster response; and
4) providing material storage for local ministries supported by Eastbrook United Methodist Church.
Erie United Methodist Alliance
An organization of United Methodist churches, laypersons, and pastors in the Erie-Meadville District organized in the name of Jesus Christ to meet the critical needs of people suffering from poverty and homelessness
