Pittsburgh Santa Spectacular (Light Up Night) 2009
Many United Methodists joined the United Methodist booth in the Pittsburgh Santa Spectacular (Light Up Night) 2009 on Friday, Nov. 20. An estimated 200,000 people came from the entire region for the mostly secular kick-off celebration of the Christmas season. Among the treats distributed were camping Bibles, 2009 Bible reading guides, flashlights, cookies baked by United Methodists and donate donated cady canes. All were gone with the massive crowds by 7:30 pm! But United Methodists continued to wosh blessings of the Christmas observance to all who came by. This is pure street evangelism!
