Paint the Town 2012

Delilah Paint the Town was a community service event led by WISH 99.7 radio personality and philanthropist Delilah.
For two weeks, local volunteers gathered to help transform the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh, PA by painting several local storefronts. In addition, a mural was painted on a local bridge and the finishing touches were made on of a long-awaited dog park.
On Thursday, October 4, Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, WSHH Radio's Ron Antil and Rev. Greg Cox cut the ribbon to officially open the dog park and celebrate the volunteer efforts.

Bishop Thomas Bickerton and his wife Sally had a late night pizza party with the youth delegates and pages on Thursday night at annual conference. The next day, the youth formed into a flash mob that appeared on the floor of the plenary room, dancing to (Doesn't Matter if You're) Black or White. Photos by the Rev. Rich Pearson.

Annual Conference Endorses Candidates for Bishop

Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference members endorsed the Revs. Eric S. Park and William B. Meekins Jr. as candidates for Bishop in the Northeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church. They were elected on the first ballot and took the stage to thank the conference members.

Zimbabwe Partnership - WPAUMC Leaders' 2010 Visit

Bishop Thomas J. Bickerton and other Western PA leaders visited Zimbabwe for nearly two weeks in December to begin building relationships under a partnership agreement signed in June 2010.
