Nicklin United Methodist Church, a small church in rural Northwestern Pennsylvania, has monthly community dinners to generate interest and support for mission.  All funds earned through our community dinners,  prepared and served by members of Nicklin and Center UM Church near Polk at no expense to the church, go directly to a mission project.

"When we heard about the Haitian people and their devastation and trauma, the churches held a Haiti Relief Dinner and those attending donated nearly $1,0000 to the Haiti Relief fund.

When the need is there, there are many "Helping Hands" that seldom receive or need any applause, said Steve Osgood, Nicklin's lay member of the annual conference.   "All dug a little deeper and gave to help our neighbors in need.  God is good, all the time"
