Harmony-Zelienople Church Fights Malaria

Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church is focused on stopping deaths from malaria.

It began when Ryan Price, then a student at Seneca Valley  High School, scheduled a rock-a-thon to raise money for Nothing But Nets as his senior project. The end result was over $650 for Nothing But Nets.

The congregation celebrated Imagine No Malaria Sunday and raised $717.

A team of 12 from Harmony-Zelienople heads for Tanzania. this summer with hopes of visiting one of the refugee camps where nets have been distirbuted. "It is exciting to put our faith into action as we pray and share the Good News of Jesus' great love," said the Rev. John Jefferis, pastor.
