SUMMARY:WPA Conference Minister's Chorus
DESCRIPTION:   The Western Pennsylvania Conference United Methodist Mini
sters’ Chorus is a group of United Methodist Ministers and t
heir spouses from throughout the Conference.  The original M
inisters’ Chorus was started over 60 years ago, and has been
singing regularly since then.  There are some members of th
e Chorus who have been singing in the Chorus regularly for m
ore than 40 years.  There were originally two separate choru
ses: a Ministers’ Male Chorus and a Women’s Ministers’ Choru
 s.  In October, 2003, the two choruses merged to form the We
stern PA Conference United Methodist Ministers’ Chorus.  The
Ministers’ Chorus does eight concerts a year, and is curren
tly under the direction of Rev. Duane C. Slade and his wife,
Muriel Slade.  Those who come will have the unique opportun
ity of hearing a blend of men’s and women’s voices singing b
oth separately and together.  There is no charge for admissi

There is no charge for admissi
on; however, a free-will offering will be received.  Come ou
t and enjoy an evening of beautiful, sacred music.  If you h
ave any questions, please contact Rev. John V. King, pastor
of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church, Franklin, PA at 8
