This leadership event for students and adults in Youth ministry has been cancelled.

Cost:  $20/person, including lunch.

Workshops will include:   

  • Worship--How to engage/lead students in Worship     
  • Ministering to Parents--Getting parents on board with youth ministry  
  • Digital Storytelling     
  • How Do I Minister to Someone Who Doesn't Look Like Me? --This session will help us to step out of our comfort zone to show the love of Christ to those outside of our "community".    
  • A Simple Theology of Leadership: Exciting, Right?!?  -- Leaving behind some of the muddle of corporate models of leadership to find some depth in Jesus' example that will push the emerging generations forward      
  • Youth Ministry 101--New to Youth Ministry?  Get basics on starting an engaging, meaninful ministry     
  • How to lead a bible study for your peers    
  • Games Extravaganza  

Sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m., with opening worship at 10 a.m. The morning includes one breakout group. Two other breakout sessions follow the 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. lunch. Closing is scheduled for 3-3:30 p.m.

Registration deadline was Feb. 21.  Payment must be made at time of registration

Clarks Mills UMC is located on the north side of State Route 358. It is located one and a half miles east of U. S. Route 19 and two and a half miles west of I-79.
