Youth in Mission from across the Western Pennsylvania United Methodist Church! Join in as a youth in 6th-12th grade or an adult leader. Choose the way you serve while you stay overnight at the beautiful campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
- BUILD UP - Work with your hands to repair, build or in some way improve the living conditions at a home or other site around the Johnstown area. Change lives - one work task at a time!
- REACH OUT - be a part of a team to spread God's love by mentoring children or running a Vacation Bible School with a local church!
But it is NOT ALL WORK! NO-NO! Activities around the dormitory and campus facilities are a blast and help you DEEPEN YOUR FAITH with United Methodist youth and adults. Bible study, music, fun times all await you. ... and of course, in keeping with tradition, there will be WACKY ACT NIGHT, too!
Registration Information:
- $250 per youth - adult leaders are free
- Register by June 24
- All advisors must have current Act 33/34 Clearances. Select "Adult" to register as an adult leader/advisor.
uth4missions brochures are available to share in your youth group, church and community (Yes, you can invite NON-UNITED METHODISTS, too!) Just ask!
